Southern Indiana Model Railroad Association plans to present its annual Holiday Model Train Exhibit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1:15 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Everyone is invited for a free weekend of holiday railroad fun for all ages.

Many operating model railroad layouts in different scales will run during the show. In addition, train sets will be given away as door prizes, but attendees must be present to win. The drawing for door prizes will be at 3 p.m. both days.

The association also will provide train-shaped Christmas cookies.

During December, people can see a model railroad display in the Seymour Library lobby.

Library customers may check out railroading and model railroading books and movies available in the lobby.

For information, contact Becky Brewer at 522-3412 ext. 1239.

The association promotes model railroading in and around Seymour. Business meetings are at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the basement of Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.
