Pair of gifts push Basket Fund to $1,275

Donations to this year’s Christmas Basket Fund grew to $1,225 Wednesday with 12 new gifts totaling $850.

The fund, sponsored by American Legion Post 89 in partnership with The Tribune, will supply gift cards to residents in need throughout the county.

The new donations include Merry Christmas from Katie Hunsucker, $25; In loving memory of our son, Terry, from Kathryn & Clifford Sierp, $25; In memory of Joanne Prather, from Jack Klakamp, $50; Merry Christmas from BP2 Construction LLC, Brandon and Brad Pardieck, $100; Merry Christmas from Larry and Mary Lou Park, $150; In loving memory of Melissa McKinney, Mary Ellen and Wilford Smith, and other loved ones. We miss you, from Judith McKinny, $25; In loving memory at Christmas time for Billy R. Hall Sr., Brandy Lett and Gerald and Eva Hinderlider from Mary E. Hall and family, $25; Merry Christmas from the Roger Winkler family, $50; In memory of our friend, Lora Darlage, from the Shollenberger family, $50; From Jackson Lodge 146, F. & A.M., $250; Merry Christmas from Don and Janet Kelsch, $50; and in loving memory of our dear brother-in-law, Delbert Fields, from David and Sharon Arthur, $50.

Donations can be left at The Tribune’s front desk, Jackson County Bank or American Legion Post 89. Donors can contribute anonymously and can dedicate donations to others.
