Cecil Harless Pearson, 89, of Commiskey, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at his residence.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis (Geneva) Pearson of Commiskey, and Russell (Shirley) Pearson of North Vernon; a daughter, Shannon (Richard) Henry of Commiskey; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, one brother; Carl Pearson, North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, George and Emerson Pearson; and three sisters, Edna Coryell, Golda Robinson and Nola Tensil Spiker.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Weston Baptist Church in Jennings County. Friends may call at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Tea Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jennings County with military graveside rites.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Alzheimer’s Association.
