Brownstown choirs performing Christmas concert

Brownstown Central Middle School choirs will present their Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium.

Each of the choirs will present a show of traditional Christmas selections and popular songs along with student solos.

The combined choirs will sing “Counting Down To Christmas,” “Peppermint Winter,” “Santa’s Crazy Reindeer,” “SparkleJollyTwinkleJingley,” “Carol Of The Bells” and “Where Are You Christmas.”

Soloists on these selections are Claire Poulton, KaCee Collins, Shauna Drake, D.J. Casenas, Olivia Barlow, Rachel Atkins, Haylee Gullion, Bailey Blake, Riley Nuss, Lucas VonDielingen, Deize Hobson, Destiny Lutrell, Marley Hayes, Cassidy Burnside, Lindsay Carr and Shaylee Hall-Mondee.

The eighth-grade choir will perform “Mistletoe,” “Do You Hear What I Hear” and “Grown Up Christmas List” with soloists Katy Rohlfing, Kaylee Overshiner, Kaylen Johnson, Kaylee Morrow and Maci Bell.

The seventh-grade choir will perform “The Spirit of the Season,” “Steppin’ Out with Santa” and “The Spirit of Christmas.”

The sixth-grade choir will perform “Can’t Believe It’s Christmas” and “When Santa Claus Gets Your Letter” with soloist Ali Reynolds, and “Christmas Chopsticks.”

The concert is under the direction of Jan Willey. Marcia Anderson and Mark Meadows are in charge of lights and sound.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert is free and open to the public.
