NORTH VERRNON

Ruth M. Corbin, 84, of North Vernon, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at her residence.

Survivors include her children, John David (Margaret) Corbin of Madisonville, Kentucky, Cheryl Lynne (Ron) Gearries of Columbus, Theresa Kaye Corbin of Columbus, and Jeffrey Duane Corbin of North Vernon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Corbin.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with the Rev. Dr. H.O. Wilson will officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Jennings County.
