Seymour City Home Extension Club celebrated Christmas with a pitch-in dinner Dec. 3 at the home of Ron Nelson.

The annual gift exchange was conducted.

On Nov. 13, five members attended the Fall Fling at Cornerstone Church in Seymour. Members donated items to Provisions and Anchor House.

President Nancy Hammond announced the club donated approximately $100 in money and baked items for the county bake sale. The money is used for a scholarship for a local senior.

Earlier in November, four members traveled to Montgomery where they shopped at a quilt shop and dined at an Amish restaurant.

On Oct. 8, eight members celebrated the club’s 81st anniversary at a local restaurant. Janet Works served as the hostess and presented gift cards to Marion Slade and Judy Prince.

The group’s next meeting will be April 1 at the home of Lorraine Gallenntine.
