for local tourism grants

Jackson County Visitor Center’s 2015 promotional grant funding applications are available.

Organizations with nonprofit status can submit a completed application along with a copy of their 501(c)(3) notification form for funding consideration for events, festivals or attractions that are slated to take place next year and promote Jackson County tourism.

Churches with articles of organization also are eligible to apply.

Only one request from any one organization will be granted each year. Applications submitted before the event that meet policy guidelines will be reviewed for approval by the center’s board of directors during its monthly board meetings. The board meets the first Wednesday of each month at the visitor center office, 100 N. Broadway St. in Seymour.
