Science, history focus of home-school programs

Jackson County Public Library is offering “Homeschool Friday” at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 9 and Feb. 20 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

This is a monthly program for home-school students to explore the sciences together through stories, crafts, experiments and public speaking. The Jan. 9 program will be “Ready, Set, Snow.” The Feb. 20 program will be about African-American history. Registration is required.
