Lois Louise Burcham, 80, of Brownstown, formerly of Vallonia, died at 2 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Hoosier Christian Village. She had been ill for two weeks.

Born May 18, 1934, in Scott County, she was the daughter of Harold and Faye Moody Peugh. On April 3, 1976, in Jackson County, she married Donal Jack Burcham, and he died Sept. 22, 1998.

Mrs. Burcham graduated from Aurora High School and was a member of Seymour Christian Church and the American Legion in Seymour. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the guitar, singing, playing bingo, crafts and sewing.

Survivors include her children, Cristi (Rick) Bannister of Brownstown and Martin Morgan of Scott County; a brother, Basil Peugh of Florida; grandchildren, Jake and Amanda Axsom, Jessica Morgan, Brandon and Kevin Morgan and Kara and Hollie Bannister; and great-grandchildren, Lexi, Parker and Raelynn Hedrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Mike Morgan; and an infant sister.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia, with Terry Fordice officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Eden Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
