Wildlife expert to speak at conservation society

An extension wildlife specialist from Purdue University will speak Jan. 5 at the monthly meeting of Big Oaks Conservation Society.

Rob Chapman with the university’s Department of Forestry and Natural Resources will talk about the Southeast Purdue Agriculture Center near Butlerville and how research leads to better natural resource stewardship.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Madison Jefferson County Public Library.
