SEYMOUR

Charles Edgar Smith, the stillborn and treasured son of Michael S. and Christina Grant Smith of Seymour, returned to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014.

Charlie was deeply loved by his mommy and daddy; twin brothers, Evan and Grant Smith; maternal grandparents, Steve and Barb Grant; paternal grandfather, Paul Smith; maternal great-grandmother, Loretta Barnes; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Charlie was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Edgar Barnes; maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Grant; and paternal great-grandparents, Paul and Geraldine Smith and Charles and Dorothy Fears.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Riverview Cemetery, with Father Dan Staublin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to March of Dimes for pPROM research.
