Schneck Hospice hosts GriefShare program

Schneck Medical Center Hospice is sponsoring GriefShare, a 13-week free program open to anyone who is coping with a loss.

There will be two locations offering the GriefShare program starting Jan. 8. The Point in Seymour will offer the program led by Steve Dalquist. Pam and Ron Evans will serve as hosts for a program at Brownstown Christian Church.

GriefShare seminars feature video sessions and discussion. Participants will gain access to GriefShare resources to help them recover from their losses and look forward to finding joy again.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside participants through one of life’s most difficult experiences and help them to not have to go through the grieving process alone, according to a news release from the Seymour hospital.

The GriefShare Groups will meet every from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays for 13-weeks starting Jan. 8.

GriefShare is a free program, and no registration

is required.

Participants can attend any or all sessions. Topics will include Living with Grief, the Journey of Grief, the Effects of Grief, Your Family & Grief, and the Uniqueness of Grief.
