Nathan T. Charles, 33, of Medora, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, in Seymour.

Born Aug. 21, 1981, in Seymour, he was the son of Ted Charles and Sharon Hall Peters. His father preceded him in death.

Known to his friends as the “Ogre,” Nathan loved to go fishing, target shooting, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his mom and stepdad, Leon, of Medora; brother, Joey (Carol) Charles of Columbus; sister, Amber (Jason) Russell of Seymour; stepbrother, Jeff (Cindy) Peters of Vallonia; stepsister, Jill Peters of Brownstown; nieces and nephews, Kaitlin Charles, Matthew Russell, Kimberly Charles, Krysania Charles, Jessica Peters, Shane Peters and Ryan Doty; grandma, Janet McKinney of Freetown, and grandfather, Dean Hall of Kurtz.

The funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Square Road in Seymour.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
