LAFAYETTE

John Orel Reece, 77, of Lafayette, formerly of North Vernon, died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.

Survivors include a brother, James (Susie) Bernard Reece of Greensburg; four sisters, Mary Anderson-Gapp of Pennsylvania, Effie (Wayne) Phillips of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, Ruth (Max) Kelley of Waldron, and Virginia (Joseph) Snakovsky of Cleveland, Ohio; and a son and two daughters.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
