Sewer bills for Seymour customers changing

Seymour Sewer Utility customers will see a change in the format of their monthly sewer bills beginning this month.

The city Board of Public Works and Safety recently approved a new contract with the utility’s software provider. The antiquated “post card” type of monthly bills will be eliminated.

Beginning with the first cycle of bills being sent out this week, customers will receive an 8½-by-11-inch paper monthly statement with all of the pertinent information for the customer regarding their monthly bill.

Also included for the first time will be a return envelope.
