Immanuel Lutheran Guild’s annual Christmas party was Dec. 2 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

Tammy Swindell welcomed members and guests. Pastor Philip Bloch gave the invocation.

The theme was “An old-fashioned Christmas.” Tables were decorated with dark red table runners, pine cones, greenery and kerosene lamps. Pine cones with gold ribbons were given as a favor.

Pastor Ralph Blomenberg led the devotions, and Patty Stahl served the meal.

Vicar Daniel Merz sang Christmas songs, and his wife, Dianna, played the piano.

Becky Boas read the story of “Silent Night.” Gingerbread houses were given as door prizes to Pat Nichalson and Elsie Brooks. Pastor Jimmy Rodriguez gave the closing prayer.
