Child Care Network Inc. plans to present a mystery dinner theater Saturday as a fundraiser for Jackson County Guardian ad Litem/Court Appointed Special Advocate program.
Doors for the mystery “Shootout at Whiskey Joe’s” open at 6 p.m. at The Pines Evergreen Room on U.S. 31, one mile south of Seymour. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
A court-appointed special advocate is a volunteer for abused and neglected children, and a guardian ad litem is an attorney or a volunteer who is appointed by the court to represent the best interests of the child.
Tickets are $25 per person at the Jackson County GAL/CASA office at 115 N. Chestnut St., Suite 305, Seymour.
