Program about gluten Feb. 9 in Brownstown

A free program exploring the basics of gluten will be offered at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

Lauren Neuenschwander, a registered dietitian and nutritionist with the Purdue Extension Jackson County, will present the program.

The phrase “gluten-free” is often seen in grocery stores or restaurants. This program will explore the basics of gluten, who should avoid gluten and what foods are gluten-free.
