Deb Bedwell, executive director of Anchor House on South Vine Street in Seymour, will speak about the family emergency shelter and food pantry when Jackson County Democrat Women meet this month.

The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at Stahl’s restaurant in Ewing.

Those attending are asked to take nonperishable food for Anchor House, a Jackson County United Way member agency.

The donations will be collected along with the dinner fee as guests arrive. Dues for the year also are payable at the meeting.
