NORTH VERNON

Betty Phillis Swisher Piatt, 90, of North Vernon, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Jennings Healthcare Center.

Survivors include a son, Don W. Piatt of Florida; three daughters, Rita Piatt of Greensburg, Sharynn (Darrell) Patterson of North Vernon and Billi Jean Gryphon of Sedro-Woolley, Washington; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, with the Rev. Mark Wooten officiating. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
