Self-improvement series continues at library

Jackson County Public Library is hosting a free series of programs this New Year called “Be a Better You in 2015!” at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Register for the remaining series programs on weight, gluten-free diets and being organized by visiting myjclibrary.org/events or calling the library at 812-523-4636.

Registered dietitian and Purdue Extension educator Lauren Neuenschwander will present “Be Well: The Science of Weight” from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday. There is a minimum of five attendees. Registration is required by Saturday.

Neuenschwander also will teach those interested in how to “Be Gluten-Free” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5. This program also has a minimum of five attendees. Registration is required by Feb. 3.

Learn to “Be Organized” following tips from volunteer and home economist Gina Pletcher from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10. Find out how to use Pletcher’s advice for organizing home activities, papers and time. Registration is required by Feb. 8.
