John E. Hendricks, 76, of Commiskey, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Maupin Hendricks; son, John E. Hendricks Jr. of Westfield; four granddaughters; four sisters, Elva Terrell of Seymour, Leora (Don) Searcy of Columbus and Wanda Able and Marilyn Hampton, both of Scottsburg; and two brothers, Larry (Kathi) Hendricks of Columbus and Marvin (Melanie) Hendricks of Cookeville, Tennessee.

According to his wishes, no services or visitation will be conducted. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue of Jennings County, Coffee Creek Baptist Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
