Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers mark their 68th anniversary

Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers observed the club’s 68th anniversary during a luncheon Jan. 27 at Cupid’s Arrow in Seymour.

Sandi Hall read a poem, “Life’s Pathways” during the celebration attended by 12 members and guest, Mary Seaney. Cake was served.

Funds were collected to fill backpacks for Child Protective Services.

President Carolyn Krieger read an article about cleaning out clutter to avoid problems for heirs, and Anna Mills spoke about the Holocaust Museum at Terre Haute.

Aryss Beebe and Carol Wait will deliver Meals on Wheels in February.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 24, at Lutheran Community Home.
