Paul M. and Betty L. Birch of Seymour are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration.

The couple were married Feb. 13, 1965, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Napoleon by Paul Birch’s father, the Rev. Albert E. Birch.

The Birches have two children, Teresa K Birch of Pittsburgh and Gary P. Birch of Seymour; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He retired from Cummins Inc. after 38 years and was a co-owner and operator of Birch Videography. She was employed at Hooks Drug Store for 16 years and was a co-owner and operator of Birch Videography for 17 years.

The couple are members of Zion Lutheran Church and Happy Holiday Hoosiers RV Club.
