Glenn Dale Bolte, 69, of Seymour, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born June 21, 1945, in Seymour, he was the son of Marvin and Martha Krumme Bolte, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 27, 1965, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jonesville, Glenn married Sheridan A. Cole.

He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. After graduating from high school, he went to work and retired from Product Engineering Tool and Die Co. in Columbus. His favorite hobby was going deer, turkey and squirrel hunting with his brothers and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years; brothers, David L. Bolte, Leroy D. Bolte and Tony M. (Connie) Bolte; sister, Melody A. (Ron) Bolte Wischmeier; stepbrother, Jeffrey K. (Sue) Meier; sister-in-law, Sandy Bolte; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Susie Meier Bolte; brother, Jeffrey D. Bolte; sister-in-law, Paula Bolte; and a great-niece, Grace Ann Scarlett.

The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Ed Keinath and Vicar Matt Jung officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Voss Chapel in Seymour and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Jonesville.
