NORTH VERNON

George Allen Bryant, 78, of North Vernon, died at 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Jennings Health Care Center.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Bryant of North Vernon; a son, Marty (Teresa) Bryant of North Vernon; two daughters, Ellen (Garrie) Ritchie and Connie (Brian) Fish, both of North Vernon; a brother, Jim (Betty) Lamb of North Vernon; two sisters, Jewell (Maurice) Grider of North Vernon, and Alline Stewart of Muncie; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Bryant.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Tom Mattingly officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Saturday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Premier Hospice in Seymour.
