NORTH VERNON

H. Jeanette Allen, 80, of North Vernon, died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her residence.

Survivors include a son, David (Linda) Allen, Carrolton, Kentucky; a brother, Wilbur Eugene Wilds, North Vernon; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Calvin Allen.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Caleb Reynolds officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of Jennings County, North Vernon Pregnancy Care Center or the American Cancer Society.
