Eleven members of Friends and Neighbors Extension Homemakers Club met March 3 at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour.

President Donna Abner opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and club creed. Members answered roll call by saying something nice about the person sitting to their right.

The thought for the month was “Success in marriage is much more than finding the right person, it is a matter of being the right person.”

Martha McIntire gave devotions and asked each member to share what she is thankful for. She closed with a prayer.

Secretary and treasurer reports were given, and the annual dues of $13.50 per member was collected.

Darlene Hart and her husband donated and filled the backpack.

Charlotte Lovegrove gave the yearly report for the Volunteer Community Support. Total hours volunteered were 642, and the money and donated items totaled $1,839.50.

Rhonda Kidwell’s theme for Achievement Night on May 14 is “Knit Together thru Life.”

Hostess Helen Lutes furnished a brown-bag lunch of chicken and ham salad sandwiches, chips, fruit, brownie and a drink.
