Joshua Dean “Josh” Reed, 25, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

Born in Madison, he was the son of Patricia Lynn Porter Edwards and Bradley Dean Reed. On Nov. 18, 2013, in Seymour, he married Hope Irene Runions.

He was a line operator at NTN Driveshaft in Walesboro. He loved to cook and to work with his hands. His free time was spent fishing, hunting and playing video games with Jeremiah.

Besides his parents and wife, other survivors include his stepfather, Douglas C. Edwards; two daughters, Autumn Mariah Elizabeth Reed and Zoey Daniella LeeAnn Reed; a stepson, Jeremiah Bruce Duttlinger; a brother, Zack Hankins; a sister, Robin (Chuck) Williams; a half sister, Constance (Billy Joe Swinford) Lequire; maternal grandmother, Nancy (Chris) Tyler; paternal grandparents, Allie and Bill Grinstead; maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Kiefer; his in-laws, Rick and Michele Strong Runions; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Porter; paternal grandfather, Carl Keith Reed Sr.; and maternal great-grandfather, Warren Kenneth Oliver.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Steven Spicer officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
