Purdue Extension hosting block party

Purdue Extension Service Jackson County plans to conduct a block party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Jackson County Learning Center, 323 Dupont Drive, Seymour.

This free program, conducted in partnership with the center’s LEAF (Learning Enrichment and Fun) program, is for parents and children ages 8 months to 8 years. It will include free play with blocks of all types and sizes.

Parents interact and play with their children while learning how to help them develop a variety of skills such as math, science, social, physical, new words, pre-reading, creative and problem-solving.
