A tip from the Bedford Police Department led to the arrest of seven people on drug-related charges at a residence in Medora.

Arrested Thursday were Ronetta Lane, 43; her brother, Anthony Lane, 45; another family member, Joshua Lane, 23; Jennifer East, 26; and Tucker Brewer, 19; all of Medora. Also arrested were Joseph Blake, 40, and his wife, Talia Blake, 33, both of Bedford.

All were arrested at a residence in 100 block of North Jackson Street, where the Lanes and East live, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.

The arrests stem from a search of the residence in which police found more than 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia, county Detective Ben Rudolph said.

Rudolph said the investigation began when he was contacted Thursday by Bedford detectives, who provided him with information about possible criminal activity at the residence.

A search warrant, signed by Superior Court I Judge Bruce Markel, was executed by officers assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s SWAT team.

The charges include:

Anthony Lane, dealing in methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia;

Ronetta Lane, possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia;

Jennifer East, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia;

Joshua Lane, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia;
