Anna Ruth Gearries, 98, of Brewersville, died at 2:05 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at her residence.

Survivors include three sons, James (Janice) Gearries, Jerry (Toby) Gearries and Jeff (Evelyn) Gearries, all of Indianapolis; two daughters, Joyce Kirkman and Jennifer Rockhold, both of Brewersville; two sisters, Laura Davis of Franklin and Maxine Shipley of Beech Grove; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gilbert Gearries; and a son, John Gearries.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
