Elizabeth Ann Sparks, 45, of Seymour, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born 25, 1969, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Hubert E. and Eunice R. Young Sparks. Her father preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 2011.

Elizabeth graduated from Seymour Christian Academy in 1988 and went on to get a Christian education degree from Indiana Bible College in 1991. Her working career started in 1991 at Little Angel’s Daycare where she worked through this year. She also worked at Dairy Mart/Circle K from 1995 until 2014 as assistant manager.

Besides her mother, survivors include her grandmother, Lois Irene Young; a sister, Lois I. (Ed Wooten) Penrose; two brothers, Donald E. (Twyla) Sparks and James M. (Nicole) Sparks; and eight nieces and nephews, Anthony Penrose, Baleigh Penrose, Heather and Michael Sparks, Samantha Sparks, Nathan Sparks, Sydney Lewis and Jacob Lewis.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmo Young, Hubert Sparks Sr. and Eva Riley Sparks.

The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Tabernacle in Seymour with the the Rev. Larry Arrowood and the Rev. Todd Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Riverview Cemetery.
