Jackson County Public Library trustees received reports about planned capital projects during the board’s meeting Monday at the Seymour Library.

Administrator Mary Reed reported projects this year include additional security cameras at all locations, sealing and striping parking lots at all three libraries, painting the trim and guttering at the Seymour Library, replacing the orange van and upgrading branch lighting.

Possible 2016 projects include replacing light fixtures and children’s carpet at the Seymour Library.

The board approved changes to the library’s displays and handouts policy to include wording for a new job bulletin board at all three libraries. They also approved an after-hours lock-in for grades 6 to 12 on July 31 at the Seymour Library.

The next regular library board meeting is at 5:15 p.m. April 20 at the Crothersville Library. Board meetings are open to the public.
