Norma Rudolph, 92, of Freetown, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.

Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Walter and Daisy Smith Harbaugh, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 1946, she married Carvan Rudolph. He preceded her in death in 1973.

She was a member of Freetown United Methodist Church and had worked as a teacher’s aide for 20 years at Freetown Elementary School.

Survivors include a son, Michael Lee (Kathy) Rudolph; three grandsons, Clint (Erin) Rudolph, Brian Rudolph and Ben (Tory) Rudolph; two great-granddaughters, Reagan Rudolph and Sophia Rudolph; and Phyllis Loper.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Harbaugh, and a sister, Anabel Loper.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown with Davie Ison officiating. Burial will follow at Freetown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freetown United Methodist Church, Pershing Township Volunteer Fire Department or Freetown Alumni Scholarship Fund.
