Ivy Tech Community College Columbus will conduct its 11th annual Run for the Ivy 5K/10K on April 25.

The event will begin outside Poling Hall, the main Ivy Tech building at 4475 Central Ave. in Columbus. The run is an event for everyone, with proceeds used for Ivy Tech scholarships and programs.

The entry fee is $15 to $25. Interested individuals may preregister online at ivytech.edu/columbus or call 812-374-5342.

Preregistered participants may pick up their race packet at Ivy Tech from noon to 5 p.m. April 24. On race day, packet pickup will start at 8 a.m.

The free Kids Fun Run begins at 10:30 a.m. Sign-ups for the children will be available at the race. Every child is a winner and will receive a ribbon for participating. Child care and activities for children ages 2 and up will begin at 8:30 a.m. race day for children whose parents or caregivers are participating in the 5K run. The cost for this service is $5 per child.

Complementary food and drink will be available to all race participants at the finish line.

An awards ceremony will follow the Kids Fun Run. Prizes will be awarded to first- and second-place winners in each age division for each event.
