March Madness events slated in Seymour

Enter His Courts will host the EHC March Madness 3-point Shootout on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at The Point, 311 Myers Lane in Seymour.

The shootout is open to everyone aged 16 and over, and the entry fee is $10 per person for those not playing in March Madness, and $5 for those that were on a roster.

The 3-point contest is part of Championship Week, and the monthlong EHC March Madness league which culminates with the championship Thursday. Festivities that include the championship game of EHC March Madness and the East /West All Star Classic game.

The public is invited to the 15th Annual EHC March Madness tourney which opens today.

Four games are on tap and they begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The four surviving teams face off and the semifinal games start at 7 p.m. with the 3-point contest sandwiched between the two semifinal games.

Thursday night’s championship will start at 6:30 p.m. and The Cover Your Head Slam Dunk Contest ($10 fee) will follow. The East/West All Star Classic will immediately follow the dunk contest.

Members of this years league teams are being selected to play against each other for this all star game.

The EHC March Madness League is made up of ex-collegiate, current IHSAA and basketball gym rats ages 16 and up.
