Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz will be the keynote speaker for the annual Jefferson/Jackson Day Dinner on May 8 at The Pines Evergreen Room south of Seymour.

The Jackson County Democrat Central Committee organizes the dinner each year.

The cost to attend this year’s dinner is $30 per person or $50 per couple. There also will be a live auction.
