Job-seekers will have the opportunity to connect with local employers for a variety of job openings during a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion Annex, 400 W. Second St., Seymour.

Ninth District Congressman Todd Young is sponsoring the job fair in conjunction with the Jackson County Public Library and WorkOne Southeast.

There is no cost to participate. Employers with available job openings can register through the 9th District Constituent Service Center in Jeffersonville at 812-288-3999, or online at https://toddyoungforms.house.gov/job-fair-registration.

No appointment is necessary for job seekers. They are advised, however, to come ready to meet with potential employers and should bring multiple copies of their résumés. Career information and job search skills tips also will be available through WorkOne Southeast.
