Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church met March 24 at the Seymour church with Paula Stafford presiding.

Joan Hines gave devotions entitled “A Sense of a Goose.”

A memorial was sent in memory of Stella Myers.

Stafford announced the society would conduct a bake sale and a Delta Kappa Gamma dinner in May. Janice Brock will be in charge of the sale and the society may have a freewill donation for leftover baked goods on May 6 and 10. Loretta Riehl and Lois Gueter will plan the menu for the sorority dinner, scheduled for May 19. Cooks and servers will be chosen in April.

Loyal Devoir has been asked to serve a meal at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 19 for Eastern Star at the church.

Members voted to purchase a gift for Pastor Lewis Wright and Karen, who will be leaving after Easter. Carolyn Bruce and Lucy Dembeck will purchase the gift.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 28.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
