They are Sandi Hall, president; Adrene Wunder, vice president; Carol Wait, secretary/reporter; Doris Frey, treasurer; Aryss Beebe, song leader/volunteer community support chair; Carol White and Carolyn Krieger, co-continuing education/health and safety leaders; and Norma Pollert, leadership development/citizenship leader.

Mary Ann Seaney became a new member.

Achievement Night will be May 14 at Cornerstone Community Church. The theme is “Knit Together by Life.”

Anna Mills gave the citizenship lesson about Chinese immigrants and metropolitan cities.

Adrene Wunder gave the lesson on “Nourish Your Skin.” She said the skin is the largest organ in the body and protects other elements in the body. Wunder said people should use sunscreen; include fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts in their diets for the antioxidants they provide; drink lots of water; and avoid trans fats.

The hostess gave devotions entitled “Don’t Worry” and served a dessert course to 13 members and three guests, Teresa Browning, Sally Potter and Mary Seaney. Favors were scrub brushes. Pollert received the hostess prize.

The next meeting will be today with Doris Frey as hostess.
