Softball parents plan benefit game

The Seymour softball parents club will conduct a benefit game April 11 for Camp Riley.

Food will be available throughout the junior varsity and varsity games at the softball field, and a silent auction will take place beginning at 12:30 until the end of the JV contest.

Meal combinations for sale containing a hamburger, cheeseburger or hot dog include chips, cookie and a drink for $5.

Baskets for auction have been put together by merchants in Seymour and the surrounding area.

All the proceeds of this game and the silent auction will go to the Nick Personett scholarship, which sends children with disabilities, ages 8 to 18, to Camp Riley during the summer.
