Oakley Davidson, 80, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

He was born to George and Bessie Hudson Davidson in Clay County, Kentucky.

He was employed as a die cast molder all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include a son, Lester Lynn Davidson; two daughters, Patty (Richard) O’Bier and Deborah (David) Hocking; three sisters, Judy Bannister, Sandra (Lanny) O’Neal and Pamela (Tim) Mannix; a brother, Curt Davidson; four grandchildren, Trishia (Greg) Walls, Corey Hocking, Dylan Hocking and Brittney Sanford; a great-grandson, George Walls; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be in Kentucky at a later date.

Per his wishes, Oakley will be cremated with Voss Funeral Services in Seymour handling arrangements.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers.
