Accomplishments this past week: Team defeated Salem, Austin and Columbus North. Winning pitcher versus North and Salem. Threw for 13 strikeouts, two walks, seven hits and two earned runs in 14 innings.
How were you able to perform to your fullest potential this past week? What did you do well?

“I am able to play to my full potential because I take care of myself with getting plenty of sleep. This week I struck out eight with no walks against Columbus North.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“To prepare for games I make sure to go over my pitches so I am not rusty on game day. I have worked all winter all year round to better myself for the season.”

Best advice: “Be you and make sure to be happy. Also work hard at everything you do because it may not seem important at the time but it will be worth it in the end.”
If you could travel anywhere and why: “I would tour Europe and experience European life.”
Athletics goal(s): Win conference, sectionals and advance as far as we can.

Accomplishments this past week: Overall medalist at Jennings County Invitational (12-team tournament) at St. Anne’s golf course shooting a 67 (-4), with three birdies and one eagle.
How were you able to perform to your fullest potential this past week? What did you do well?
“I felt like I really hit the ball really straight this past weekend from a driver standpoint and an iron standpoint. I hit 15 greens in regulation, which contributed in my confidence throughout the golf course.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“I don’t really do anything different from how anyone else prepares before an invite. However it was the first time I wore a bucket hat for the school season, so I guess you can say that’s my special good luck charm.”
