SEYMOUR

Rita K. Wyman, 72, of Seymour, and formerly of Brownstown, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born July 3, 1942, in Salem, she was the daughter of Nolan and Edith Cornwell Baker, both of whom preceded her in death. Rita had been married to the late Ivan Wyman.

She enjoyed working puzzles, gardening and watching hummingbirds, and she took great joy in taking care of her grandchildren.

Rita leaves behind two daughters, Carla Jill Otte and Teresa Cantu, both of Seymour; sisters, Anna Mary Riblen and Iris Baker, both of Florida; grandchildren, Ashley (Derek) Lord, Heather Zieleniuk, Mia and Miles Cantu and Katelyn and Tiffany Otte; and great-grandchildren, Mason and Hallston Lord.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Irvin Baker, Carolyn DePew and Shirley Barrett.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
