Professional jewelry maker Vickie Goldsberry will teach people to make a bead and steel spider for a necklace pendant or ornament May 5 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

The programs will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for adults and teens and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for adults in their 20s and 30s.

Registration is preferred by Tuesday by paying $5 for supplies at the library’s checkout desk.

Goldberg, a county resident, has been making jewelry for years and has her own business. She is teaching this art in order to pass it on to others.

The pendant is about 2-by-3-inches and can be seen at the library’s information desk.
