Immanuel Lutheran Guild’s regular meeting was April 7 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church with president Sandy Kilgas opening the meeting.

Pastor Ralph Blomenberg spoke on the topic “To Fear, To Fear Not?” He spoke about many different phobias and when fear is helpful.

Marie Harmon reported on the May party at 6:30 p.m. May 5 in the fellowship hall. It will be catered.

Tables were decorated with green place mats, butterfly napkins and garland and flower pots with snack mix. White cake with green frosting and strawberry cake with ice cream were served.

Joan Nichols gave the closing devotions, “The Overcomers.”

The door prize, a hyacinth, was won by Pat Nicholson.

Sue Foster, Elvira Preuss, Ruth Newkirk and Carol Denny were the hostesses for the evening.
