Jackson County Community Theatre will present the final show of the 2014-15 season, Ira Levin’s “Deathtrap,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Royal Off-the-Square Theatre in Brownstown.

The classic thriller was written in 1978 and has been frequently revived on stage due to its abundance of plot twists, thrills and humor.

Kathleen Baute is directing the show. Cast members are Pete Law as Sidney, Elyse McGill as Myra, Jeremy Kinnett as Clifford, Kelli Ketcham as Portia and Katrina Hardwick as Helga. Destiny Luttrell is assistant director. Joe Bradley, Joe Reynolds and Joel McGill are constructing the set, and Julie Bradley is assisting with costuming.

“Deathtrap” is recommended for mature audiences due to some stage violence and deaths, as well as some language that might be inappropriate for children.

Tickets are on sale at Family Drug in Brownstown and Bevers Family Pharmacy in Seymour. Remaining tickets will be available at the door. However, for best seating, advance purchase is recommended. Out-of-county patrons may call 812-358-4502 (Family Drug) to reserve tickets.
