Twelve boys took the stage at Seymour High School’s Earl D. Proud Auditorium on April 24. At the end of the night, only one left with the title of Mr. SHS.

That was Seth Carter.

The mock pageant, called Pitch Not-So-Perfect, featured a variety of talents, including singing, playing piano, skits and even a science display.

The contest also consisted of a club wear portion, a question-and-answer session and a group dance.

Carter also picked up the title of Mr. Congeniality, while Daniel Hauersperger was first runner-up, Tim Molinari was second runner-up, Cameron Deppen won Director’s Choice and Patrick Fraizer won People’s Choice.
