Jammin’ for Jesus will offer a night of contemporary praise at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Central Christian Church, 1434 W. Second St., Seymour.

A women’s group made up of Pam Andrew, keyboard; Jan Carlstrom, vocals; Chris Fern, drums; Paula Kemp, vocals; Kerry Skurka, guitar and Mary Miles, powerpoint, will perform. They are an offshoot of Columbus Area Emmaus Walk 96, which was recently conducted at Camp Lakeview, Waymansville.

The 72-hour spiritual retreat is conducted semi-annually. The group led worship a week ago at Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus.

New contemporary songs such as “Start a Fire,” “This is Amazing Grace,” “Overwhelmed” and “Redeemed” along with others will be featured. Many praise songs such as “Blessed Be Your Name,” “Everlasting God” and “My Redeemer Lives” will also be sung.

Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall after worship.

The public is invited.
